SirFlappy Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) This may have been spoken about and I have missed it,but in the future updates to CLOD will the AI war spirit be lifted! I stopped playing CLOD because of the total lack of attacking attitude in the AI. As a non multiplayer this killed the game for me. No matter what AI setting I gave them the enemy either fought a few minutes then seemed to give up and head for home or just act as if I wasnt about and make no evasive moves at all! In RoF,BoS and il21946 the AI at least have an attacking mentality,I hope now that code is available you will be able sort this out ......because for me at least it is a game breaking aspect......thanks. I do understand that often during the battle the 109 pilots could only afford a quick battle over England and then it was head back home. The 109 just did not carry enough fuel. So often after a skirmish the English might catch the 109s going home and then be able to take them down. This still does not excuse the AI in the game going dumb after a few minutes.

The mission server was built to make pilot's situational awareness sharp and put you in situations where if you don't pay attention you will just die from AI or was that guy real? Fly it and know when the new ai is out TWC will be using it to its full settings as well can't wait. <S> Fatal

Fly it and know when the new ai is out TWC will be using it to its full settings as well can't wait. <S> Fatal I have flown RoF,and il21946 (original versions & modded) much more than clod, so my feeling of the AI in CloD is not as good as you probably and many vets here, I respect that fact. I will say to be fair, the AI in this game is not totally screwed,in fact at times ( I have mostly just played fighter v fighter)it plays very well , it can do some fairly good defensive moves,and can attack well in some situations. I just find by watching replays that they would get many more kills if they aimed better! Long ( in time) badly aimed shots, that waste nearly all the AIs ammo shooting in the air, then the zombie RTB mode. If they conserved the ammo better and reacted better when heading home,it could be great. I do salute TF for what they have done so far though with the game, and have faith in Mysticpuma and the team that they will sort the AI out,because these faults seem very real to me. Mysticpuma Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 We think we found the issue of the missing shots (although you don't want every bullet to hit that's fired by the Ai!), other areas like broken radio Commands, the RTB issue, even landing patterns are on the list to be researched and amended where possible....Even odd things like vehicle's that can't cross bridges.....Lots to look at....We have lists at the ready Cheers, Mysticpuma
