So what makes the M-105PF engine so special?

I guess we also cant compare an Audi with an BMW because of different designs?

What was the topic, ah right, AP vs HE damage, anything new about that topic, is it all just feelings, did somenone find something new except that AP only is what everyone should have in there beltings?

Nothing is special about M105PF engine it is designed to run at its nominal rated power all day just as the 109 engine is, just has no ability to boost higher like the DB601/605

Klimov engine was slightly larger displacement and heavier and less power to weight than DB601

Could we please focus on the HE vs AP damage discussion? It would be helpful if we specifically targeted the damage, not the resilience of the aircraft.

Does anyone know the 151/20 MGFF and the SHVAK cannon exact belt composition? Would it be possible for the player to only fire a single round at a time so as to get HE vs AP hits for 20mm cannons?

I will collect the posted videos and opinions into a single post to hopefully get developer's attention :)

That would be nice to know exactly, i ever ask myself what the acual belting is.

Yesterday i tested the 6x20s and overall it was nice but not that good for me to justify the amount of speed loss between 4x20s and 6x20s.
