Mysticpuma Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 (edited) Here's a short video from current work in progress and a few images too. Cheers, MP"During World War II the United Kingdom was the only country to develop and widely employ purpose-built armoured command vehicles. Those were essentially armoured buses based on truck chassis. The most common ACV of the British Army was the AEC 4x4 ACV. The vehicle, based on AEC Matador chassis, entered production in 1941. A total of about 415 units were built. The vehicle was used for the first time in the North African Campaign and remained in service until the end of the war. Big and comfortable, it was nicknamed Dorchester by the troops, after the luxury hotel in London. Three ACVs of this type were captured by the German Afrika Korps. Two of them, named "Max" and "Moritz", were employed by Rommel and his staff throughout the campaign."Video here: And a few images:P-40E WiP Cr.42 WiP: French landscape tiles - WiP: Cheers, MP/TFS Edited March 9, 2017 by Mysticpuma 9

smink1701 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Thanks for the update… When do you think we'll see the first all-in-one update on steam? 3
9./JG54_GERMANWOLF Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 I'm not going to criticize the work, but it's time to speed up the upgrade. The staff at 1c have to help with the jobs. 1

That would depend on the agreement between TF and IC. Though I'm not sure that anyone who worked on CloD is even working for 1C any more. 1

Though I'm not sure that anyone who worked on CloD is even working for 1C any more.Truth. Plus the guys that took over are just getting started as a business, and not the modding team they were previously. I'm as impatient as anyone, and I'm sure they want a release even more than the fans do. They can't just wish stuff into existence though, and as you can see they have been hard at work. We have to wait. And don't forget the other important point - while they likely support the team at Fusion Simulations in their further development, Jason and his crew have been very busy themselves releasing updates every two weeks or so, which again is very impressive. Especially when you look at some of the other flight Sims out there and the pace of development they have.Cheers How's that dewotine coming along MPuma? Those shots and renders look great. JAGER_Batz Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 great game, It's worth the wait Good job TF!! 1

Original_Uwe Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Wait are you guys working on a P-40C and an E?!
Danziger Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 It looks like they are working on quite a lot.
Blitzen Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 (edited) Really looking forward to this expansion of CloD.Of course the same goes for BoK!!!! Edited February 22, 2017 by Blitzen

No. 1c already helped to speed up by providing source code. 1C cannot put more resource into this by risking BOK and Pacific release. 1
wtornado Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Doesn't this thread belongs to other 1c games category instade of bos general? It belongs here it is in the CLoD thread. Who do you think is financing them? I would not be surprised their team is bigger than the BOS/M/K team. Few pics for wait 2018 lol. Knock it off. I have been waiting for 6 years for a new co-op mod for these games it would be funy if Team Fusion Simulations would deliver a Co-op system first now that they have all the tools and judging by all their work I would not be surprised that they could. I'm not going to criticize the work, but it's time to speed up the upgrade. The staff at 1c have to help with the jobs. I can wait for that Martlet with a perfect flight model and a nice cockpit. I loved to put Martlets in my Atlantic co-ops and Mediterranean co-ops and in my Finnish continuation war co-ops with the Brewsters in IL-2 1946 HSFX No this thread is where it belongs. ACG_Smokejumper Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Shut up and take my money!!!! +1 Shut up and take my money!!!! Is there a cost idea yet? I would happily drop $50 to $75 on this. It's a whole new theatre and plane set. I know you guys have put literal countless hours in.
II./JG27_Rich Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Any previews of 109fs coming our way soon?

sot Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 great! are there any plans for smooth stick controls animation ?
JG4_Sputnik Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Very nice pics! Thanks for sharing Out of curiosity, how much more work is it to make a cockpit clickable vs a non clickable cockpit? I assume you go full clickpit for the new planes, right? Cheers and thanks for the hard work!!
Mysticpuma Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) P-40C? Unintentional, sorry Very nice pics! Thanks for sharing Out of curiosity, how much more work is it to make a cockpit clickable vs a non clickable cockpit? I assume you go full clickpit for the new planes, right? Cheers and thanks for the hard work!! Yep fully clickable. Can't explain the difference between the two as we aren't creating a non-clickable version to test. Cheers, MP/TFS Edited March 10, 2017 by Mysticpuma 1
Feathered_IV Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Is there some other theatre you have in mind for the P-40C? It doesn't seem to fit within the Battle of Britain or Tobruk scenarios that TFS are working on.
Original_Uwe Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Though it does fit the planeset and North Africa.
Missionbug Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Have you seen these pictures of the Wellington cockpit we're currently working on? WPit_105.jpg WPit_112.jpg WPit_107.jpg WPit_108.jpg That Wellington is sure looking something special, excellent work there from the team Mysticpuma. I really wish you guys would get them documents signed so we can finally see this stuff up close and personal in our game, the wait is driving me crazy. Wishing you all the very best, Pete.
Ice_Eagle Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 P-40C? Unintentional, sorry 4.jpg 5.jpg 6.jpg1 (1).jpg2.jpg 3 (1).jpg Yep fully clickable. SCG_Space_Ghost Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 -snip- Yep fully clickable. Can't explain the difference between the two as we aren't creating a non-clickable version to test. Cheers, MP/TFS When you say fully clickable are you describing full systems modeling clickable pits like DCS or clickable as in open the fuel cock, flick the magnetos up and press I? If the former vs. the latter, will any/all existing aircraft models in COD be updated with this functionality?

This is something we are considering (full clickable as you describe (more complicated than now, DCS standard....don't know as yet)). No guarantees all aircraft will be like that for v5.00 BUT it is something we will look at to see if it is possible, we have discussed this on our closed forums and it is being considered. Time is the issue, but we are considering the options Edited March 20, 2017 by Mysticpuma

No guarantees all aircraft will be like that for v5.00 BUT it is something we will look at to see if it is possible, we have discussed this on our closed forums and it is being considered. Time is the issue, but we are considering the options DCS "standard" was much "what if/fantasy" clicks - they have no practical purpose, e.g. in P-51 you can tune, adjust volume for Detrola receiver - for no purpose in the game. Same for Spit IXe IFF controls. On the other hand some functions, like trigger/weapons release is simplified for "sake of gameplay" (Mig-21). CloD could be improved in this matter, but only for functions that really allow player interact with then. The actual "flip magnetos" before engine start is just "what if", because the "magical" and invisible start button (E) turn the OFF and the ON if you set, if you not set, the (E) turn then ON.
