Game Crashes after 90+ Minutes of continuous flying time

I would like to ask those who fly more than 90 Minutes at a time regularly how often their Games Crash. 

 

5tuka and I recently had the case of our games Crashing after just over 90 Minutes of Cont flying time after trying to Bomb the HQ on DED Random Expert. 

His Game Crashed shortly before we started the Landing Approach, mine just as I was rolling to a halt, just early enough not to count anymore. 

It was no Server Disconnect and his game crashed around 10 Minutes before mine. 

Would love to hear from you guys though.

GTX 780? Because that's what happens if you have one with the current drivers.

The game has crashed exactly once for me since 2.006 came out. I've flown on the Finnish dynamic war server a couple of times, running repeated bombing missions that I think took more than 90 minutes. I also fly in FNBF, typically for the whole mission duration (2.5 hours) without crashes so far.

Maybe it was a bug specific to that mission, something like a memory leak introduced by something near the airfield you landed on. just a guess.

Sounds familiar, the crash problem came with 2.006 back.

To clarify is it
Crash To Desktop (Game just closes no warning or error boxes it just like you hit alt-f4... but didn't)
or is it
Game Crash (Game crashes with a il2-sturmovik has stopped responding and needs to close or similar error box??)

GTX780 here on older drivers and can often play hours at a time without problems.
i get 1 random "Game Crash" every 5-7 gaming hours but thats about it.

I have had game crashes, along with my wing mates, when flying for anywhere between 90-150 minutes.

 

I will say it does not happen all the time but when it does, it happens to everyone. Very odd.

It tends to be quite reliable up to around the 1 hour mark, above that it becomes a game of Chance and above 90 Minutes it is almost guaranteed to happen. On a Flight before opening the Topic I jokingly said that our flight would probably be limited not by and Ingame Action but who gets Disconnected/Crashes first. 

And surprisngly enough after the 90 Minute Mark (1:33 for him, 1:49 for me) we both had the "Il-2 Sturmovik stopped working" Crash

Its because of inbuilt engine limitation, you have to lower your powertarget after 90 mins, if not your game explodes. :D
