71st_AH_Hooves Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Yes, try it out tomorrow. If you set your ammo to unlimited. Then after you run through your first set of ammo, bit "r" and it will reload your guns. If u dont select unlimited ammo. You are just out. In the Lagg you will even hear the clinking soind of the rechamber handle. (Though i dont think its modeled yet) If im wrong about the unlimited ammo setting and you can indeed reload in limited ammo mode. Than i promise you it will not be that way for long. This sim will be modeled to a high level of realistic accuracy. There are some folks on these forums whos slanderous bias is so thinly veiled that at this point its bordering on comical. Why i dont know. Other flight sims remain other flight sims. You want to play another theater? Its there for you to enjoy thanks to Loft and some talented modders. BoS will be another great addition to the combat sim library.

Mogster Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 It's working in different ways depending on wether you have unlimited ammo selected.
71st_AH_Hooves Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 It's working in different ways depending on wether you have unlimited ammo selected. Yes this. There is a cocking mechanism, and that is really all you are doing in unlimited ammo. You are "cocking" the first round of your ammo belt into the weapons. It just functions as re-arming your aircraft when that mode is on in difficulty. Just like you have suggested.
Yazh-29 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Is this command used in BOS? I know there is a reload in ROF, wanted to see if there was a such thing as reload in these birds - working on my HOTAS profile... I also do not see a " fire rockets" command? Thanks, Do you think the rear gunners or back ? Definition of a semi-automatic weapon: " A semi -automatic weapon takes one munition per share on its trigger and provides only the necessary maneuvers as reloading ammunition available permit. Part of the energy generated by the firing of the ammunition is used for the ejection of the case and the next cartridge loading mechanism function . If ammunition is defective, the weapon is locked ( " checked " ) and shooting will not resume after an attempt to eject and then to another chambering . A semi-automatic weapon to fire automatically loads a cartridge in the chamber after a shot , but a release and a new pressure on the trigger are needed for the next move could leave. Thus, to take ten shots with a semi-automatic weapon to fire , release and support ten times on the trigger . Instead, with automatic firearm , shooting will continue as long as the trigger is held down, until no ammunition or fire incident . There are guns and military rifles and semi- automatic hunting . The vast majority of automatic weapons also has a command that allows the semi -automatic firing , it is then mixed with fire weapons . Semi -automatic weapons are sometimes divided into two categories depending on whether or not their heads are closed before the action on the trigger. When the trigger of an army gun open bolt is pressed, the bolt moves forward, extract a cartridge from the magazine , the space in the room and strikes . With a closed system army head cartridge is then already chambered and action on the trigger controls only the percussion. The closed bolt system is generally more accurate because causes less displacement of the center of gravity during firing . The open bolt system is almost exclusively used in machine guns because it is simpler and allows the barrel and chamber to cool faster. "
Yazh-29 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Berezin UB The Berezin UB (Russian: Березин УБ - Универсальный Березина, Universalni Berezina, Berezin Universal) is a Soviet machine gun 12.7 mm, designed to be mounted on aircraft and widespread during the Second World War. In 1937 , ME Berezin began designing a new machine gun chambered in caliber 12.7 mm caliber machine guns used by the infantry. This new model factory pass tests successfully in 1938 and was declared fit for service in 1939 under the designation BS ( Russian: Березин Синхронный , Berezin Sinkhronniy , Berezin Synchro ) . Its rate of fire is comparable to the Browning M2 , making it the ideal defensive weapon for aircraft. Despite being a successful model , the BS is not without flaws , the biggest being its charging cable that requires great physical strength. Further development leads to UB , available in three versions: UBK ( Krylyevoi for wings) , UBS ( Sinkhronniy synchronized ) and UBT ( Turelniy for the turret) , UBS and UBK being overlay compressed air . The UB is admitted into service April 22, 1941 , two months before the opening of the Eastern Front .
Dutch Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Wow, thanks for your collective and undivided attention guys, I didn't realise I was so popular, but I was wondering......the title of the thread is 'Weapon Reload?' Don asked the following ; 'Is this command used in BOS? I know there is a reload in ROF, wanted to see if there was a such thing as reload in these birds - working on my HOTAS profile...' That sounds like a question about reloading to me and in the current incarnation of the game, what is more...... But please don't all break eachother's necks whilst clamouring for the kill again. It looks sort of, well, 'moblike', for the wants of a better expression. (With thanks to the people who pointed out that the LaGG's guns can be 'cocked' from the cockpit. I wasn't aware of that so thanks Sokol1, Skoshi et al. )
