Blooddawn1942 Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 ....They feel so right....heavy....earthshaking...roaring thunder, louder than hell!!. Great experience! Devastating brutal force!!!! By the way, I noticed a new whistling sound of the DB-engine in the 109. And they reworked the fly by camera. Just made a quick flight, maybe 6 or 7 minutes..take off. blow the hell out of the guns and landing. Rest has to wait until tomorrow evening. All in all its just superb!! 1
JaMz Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 (edited) Hmm the sound is nice but that's about it imo... its firing tennis balls, too arcadey for me atm Im not sure we have the same update Edited December 6, 2013 by 2./JG11Fritzi
Blooddawn1942 Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 Maybe the tracers are not final, we will see. First impression was really great. Maybe not sophisticated, but hey, I don´t care.. Let me my passion. Tomorrow is the time to be subjective. Not this evening. Now I continue with beer. Stalingrad must wait until another day...
JG4_Sputnik Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Wow, the sound and the tracers really look great! Maybe they look a bit too thick and like balls rather than stripes but I like them. They made the smoke of the tracers a little bit "wobbly" rather than only straight grey lines and they did an awesome job. It looks very real and natural. Downed three LaGGs and the "puff" clouds when they get hit are super satisfiying. DM looks ok so far. The AI wasnt a chalenge in my 109n so far, but the difference between novice and ace is obvious. Very glad with this update. Maybe the tracers are not final, we will see. First impression was really great. Maybe not sophisticated, but hey, I don´t care.. Let me my passion. Lextor Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I came from warthunder real battles, and I have to say these bots are way more skilled than WT players At the moment I'm getting owned on both sides(flying lagg3 or bf109)...

Today I´m with my Mrs Beer is flowing, but the aircrafts need to be stored well until Saturday evening! Edited December 6, 2013 by Blooddawn1942
senseispcc Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 (edited) It wasn't so easy as i excepted... With the 109 it is a little to easy, is it not? :-) Edited December 6, 2013 by senseispcc
All_Apologies Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Ive shot a lot of tracers in my life and its pretty close. The rounds do look like "balls" from the gunner position. The "ball" size has a lot to do with the size of round. The .50 cal M2 is the biggest caliber I have shot tracers through and they look like tennis balls at night. You dont really see a tracer arc as the gunner looking down the sight. What they got now is pretty close but I agree needs a little refining but for an alpha it is pretty good interpretation. 1

Thanks for the info, hope the Devs take note, people need to refeer on experts and not from their "looks like bad to me" Also Ive shoot some Tracers, not that caliber, but its like some kinda of Ball with a trail.
LordNeuro*Srb* Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Yes when flying 109 there is no chalenge (at list not agents ai in laag) , but when in laag , well lets just say i trayed the parachute.

Requiem Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 If you're having problems just circle to get above the waypoint height before activating the spawn so you can start with an advantage. Doing this in the LaGG makes the 109 easy to kill, but regardless when flying the 109 vs LaGG it's like clubbing seals... I'll have to do some shooting with icons on to see what skill level the AI spawns as because once I get on its six o'clock region it just it seems to just fly like I'm not there. The AI doesn't matter so much at this point though as there is a long way to go, it's just great to get into some dogfighting using this viewing system. Working great, its smooth and looks great as the bandit flies by and around your proximity. Enjoying the gun sounds too as well as the new F3 camera, so great job on adjusting that. Although having the external free camera working would be nice too... Cheers for the shooting patch guys
