Fran13 Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 (edited) Thinking about get a new monitor ... a big one Edited February 10, 2017 by Fran13
Dakpilot Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Would not recommend an Nsync monitor, unless you really like boy bands.... However Gsync monitors seem to get good praise from many BoS users, a 4K 55" one would be on my wishlist if I came into some money (and someone made one!) Cheers Dakpilot 2
SJ_Butcher Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 I would recommend to skip it, proprietary and closed tech isn't good this days, a FreeSync monitor is cheaper and you get the 99% same results, you only need a AMD card because Nvidia refuse to support a open standard, but with the time I am sure they will have to put G-Sync in their asses
PeterZvan Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 RoF / BoX game engine prefers Nvidia cards - performance is always better with them. I have a GTX 980 and a ASUS ROG PG279Q 2560x1440. I run BoS on Ultra with excelent performance and gsyns almost eliminates all stutters... I get average 100fps and even with varying fps and when diping down I have smooth movements ingame. Before I had the same card and a 1920x1080 27 inch monitor, but the performance was not comparable - I was always cursing when the fps droped less than 50fps - I dont like the stutters... So from me - highly recomended.

I looking for something with a great resolution and better refresh like 1ms? i hate ghosting, landscapes are terrible blur and you can not even find enemy cons. Thanks!!
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Don't make mistakes and invest in AMD and ATI. They good but but for our game best is Intel and Nvidia.
