T.16000 fcs hotas+pedals setup issue

Okay, this is kind of hard to explain (especially since I'm a total noob) so bare with me. So I am trying to set up my controls but everything on my stick and throttle both shows up as Joy0.

 

What happens is that when I try to map controls, the buttons/axis' seem to be shared between my throttle and joystick and the actual control seems to randomly switch between them. For example, I'll set my primary fire to the trigger on my throttle but sometimes I need to press a button on my throttle to fire instead, other times the trigger works properly. Sometimes I can pitch/roll with my joystick while other times it will only work with the joystick on my throttle.

 

I just want the game to recognize my throttle and joystick as seperate controls and while I've seen what appears to be similar issues (through googling), I've yet to actually find the solution.

 

My drivers for my setup are installed from the TM website and I have my pedals plugged into my throttle through the rj45 cable. BoF is the only game I've encountered this issue with.

I just got this setup earlier this week and to get it to work in BOS I had to use the target software to build a profile with all the buttons assigned DX numbers.

I don't currently have the FCS pedals and the game shows my joysick and joy0 and the throttle as joy1. Keymaps fine 'without the T.A.R.G.E.T software'.

 

Try setting things up without T.A.R.G.E.T. This is a known problem.

 

I use JoyToKey to map my tank controls. I have my joystick aim the cannon and the paddles on the throttle drive the tank. I'm not finished yet. Just sharing what I have.

Thanks to both of you for the quick response. The pedals shouldn't factor in as my understanding is that they read as part of the throttle. I will try removing my config from the game folder and launching without the TARGET software and see if that fixes my issue. I'll let you know how it goes!

Had to go into my IL-2/data/input folder and edit the "devices.txt" to have my stick/throttle relabled as joy1/2. It works great now though! Thanks again for your help guys. Hopefully if someone has a similar issue they come across this thread.
