"Save head snap correction", plz help

I'm back to Il-2 (didn't fly for about 2 years !)

I'm very happy to get back to the thing but something is driving me mad :

"Save current corrections in head snap position" > F10 by default I believe.

I unfortunately tested it and now, everytime I pick the Yak-1, it takes this change into account.

How can I reset it ??!

Thank you fellows for any help !

You can delete the saved snapview files. Below is one of many posts describing what to do.

I changed my keybinding for that after the first time I hosed up my default head position. F10 is a little too easy for me to hit.

Thank you very much !

Maybe another command to reset it directly through the game would be welcomed...

Just as aside question, I see that Il-2 installed in "ProgramFiles(x86)" > 32bits, wouldn't it install in "ProgramFiles"  > 64bits, in order to be able to handle DirectX 11 ? (I didn't buy BoM nor BoK yet)

Or is BoS still in DirectX 9 ?

Because, from the point of view of a guy who didn't fly BoS for about 2 (long) years, it seems that the sim more FPS friendly but still with stutters which I don't really understand. I sometimes experience quite big ones but FPS is @ ~120 !

Why don't you just correct it with the head movement controls to a position that suits you best and then hit F10 to save your view? (you need to set this for every plane) Maybe I am not understanding you correctly..

PS: Game was updated from Dx9 to Dx11 but directory stayed the same. (It does not really matter though)

Ah ? Thank you for this information !

I did it with just moving my head to the position, I wanted it in the game and then pressing F10.

you can also just remove trackIR, press 5 in the numeric keyboard to center the view and then save it with F10.
