MiG21bisFishbedL Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Heinkel? where on earth did you come up with a HE100D If I could get that in CloD, I would squeal. Like a little girl. 1
LLv34_Flanker Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 S! Can't wait to try out the Bf109E-7 JG 5 used it up to 1942/43 up north against VVS. And need my TrackIR, POV hat does not cut it these days
A-E-Hartmann Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 did i see a 190 cockpit at the end? No,it is that of the BF-109E-7.
DD_bongodriver Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 No,it is that of the BF-109E-7. I think he may have meant the subliminal image flash right at the last second of the video, really hard to tell what it was but knowing the way TF like to tease with the videos I wouldn't be surprised if that last image was not the E-7 but something else to keep us guessing.......and drooling.
Sokol1 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 (edited) Is Bf 109 cockpit. http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=13384&d=1415992132 http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=13387&d=1415992241 BF 109F? What means cannon armed Spitfire togheter. Edited November 15, 2014 by Sokol1
Mysticpuma Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 The last 'flash' image was intentional It is an E-7.....but....with a few modifications heading in the direction of the F, which, well......may give a clue to another aircraft sitting in a hangar waiting to be revealed at a later date
Lusekofte Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Iam pretty sure a Cannon armed Spit will be on the to do list, advancing in time there are no way around it. But that nonsense is not important. Very soon a Whimpey will roam the skies
Lusekofte Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 (edited) I'll gladly shoot that ugly abomination of a plane out of the sky with my stinking RAF plane, thank you very much. Luftwaffle planes... yuck. OK folks Vaxxtx and Chuck did meet at noon in Hells Corner, I am afraid I got sick so I could not attend anyway I stuck around and filmed it Edited November 15, 2014 by LuseKofte 2
Lusekofte Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 By the way it was a joke, in this site humor tend to hit hard backwards

von_Greiff Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Soon... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMqw4b6HJ3Y&feature=youtu.be Yessssssss! 1
=LD=Hethwill Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Thx for sharing Khan ! Will certainly give it a look! You won't regret a minute spent on patrol. I am a finicky bastard regarding mission design ( blame my wargamer soul !!! ) and damn they do them very good.... down to the tiny important details like runway plates properly turned for head wind For example, last patrol I did I went "polish style" on a formation of Ju-88 and dived right on them trying to scatter them. I know I damaged 3 of them but had to return to base with a faulty governor so I had no idea what happened after.... Some days later I checked the Public Stats, they record the live streak ( counts achievements until you die or get captured ) and got credited with 1 kill and 2 assists. So the story did not end where I disconnected, the Ju-88s tried to return to their base ( they were AI btw ) and eventually they couldn't and got intercepted by another patrol or just ditched. My patrol was not in vain. Was not a simple big map dogfight. Yes, give it a try.
LBR=H_Ostermann Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 S! Awesome video ² I Just watched four times until now, that Bomb scene, dude... @ Storm Of War. I highly recommended SoW server too, nice radar system (more historical), nice missions, stats. Very well done!
ST_ami7b5 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Cor Chuck! Another beauty +1 Chuck rules!
Chuck_Owl Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Thanks guys! I can't wait to fly the Wellington either. It might be in a while though...
Lusekofte Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I leave my Heinkel and run over the channel and join the fight against Luftwaffe in a Whimpy with you Chuck :D Cannot wait
Chuck_Owl Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I leave my Heinkel and run over the channel and join the fight against Luftwaffe in a Whimpy with you Chuck :D Cannot wait I'm sure we'll get to fly He-111s or Ju-88s together as well, mate. One thing I really like about bombers is the fact that it forces you to fly in a much more realistic manner. If I fly in a fighter, my mission is generally "go find some trouble" and that's about as hard as it gets. For a bomber, however, it's a real mission you're flying (and most of the time you need to coordinate with your teammates if you want to make it back alive as you just don't have the speed to run away from trouble). You need a flight plan (if you need to bomb an airfield on grid AB28 you need to know how to get there) and you need to calculate approximately how much fuel you need and the appropriate bomb loadout (if you're going for ships or high altitude or if you're going to bust the dams at Le Havre, for example). Strangely enough, I think that flying bombers is harder than flying fighters because it's closer (IMHO) to real-life flying as it requires proper navigation abilities if you want to be successful at it. 1
wellenbrecher Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Yep, yep, yep. I really, really can't wait for Malta/5.0 in general. A 109 F variant will be beautiful, flyable Wellingtons and Swordfish torpedo biplanes and - I hope so - cannon variants for Spits and maybe at some point in the far, far, far, far future even Hurris. :>
dburne Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Agree, sounds like some really good stuff coming with 5.0.
354thFG_Leifr Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I'm most excited by the terrain and sound updates!

LLv34_Flanker Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 S! 4K is the next step for me at some point Just need a good monitor and a beefy enough GPU for it..
FS_Fenice_1965 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Was it running so smooth thank's to the double GPUs ?
Vaxxtx Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Damn, that does look good. Thumbs up on that video.
e345spd Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) S! 4K is the next step for me at some point Just need a good monitor and a beefy enough GPU for it.. Actually, your single GPU provides very playable FPS in COD (and BoS) for UHD resolution. Not like there's any other more powerful single-die GPU on the market for 4k anyways. Can always pick up another 290x when you're ready, the XDMA crossfire implementation yields practically identical results as the 295x2 if you use the same core and memory clocks (295x2 is still xdma crossfire, even though both dies are on the same PCB, all dual-die GPUs still utilize the same forms of multi-GPU implementation as the respective single die multi-gpu solutions). Limiting factor is really just about having the extra pci-e lanes. COD has indeed aged incredibly well (it's also very cheap!)! TF team has done some fantastic work. LLv34_Flanker Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 S! I would propably go CrossFire then as UHD monitors are 60Hz and I want 60fps. Currently on 1080p the 290X puts out easily excess of 100fps when running on my 121Hz monitor. Have to say that Cliffs in 4k looked fabulous

CisTer-dB- Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 And thrust me on the monitor it look way better, youTube does not represent the true image, plus I record with FRAPS at half size because of the size of the file. A 10min at that resolution is like 64Gb. I have the r9 295x2, so if you had a second 290x you should be fine o7
