 Ostermann, yes using AMD. System in signature ;) I have no problems with AMD or their drivers. I usually tweak the game using it's own configuration, not forcing anything through CCC. Pretty much all at default there.

Flanker do you have the smoke with CloD green with your GPU? I sometime have it and i need to restart it.

I did this video yesterday. That game still give me goose bump

Green smoke is an issue with SLI cards or single cards with dual GPUs..

To avoid it, one must start a quick mission, spawn and then close the mission.

This OR run Clod in single GPU mode.

Once this is done the green smoke is gone. This is a bug that has been there since the game was released.

Thank you! I hide signatures here in BOS forum for some reason that I can't remember, lol

 

I using AMD too and have nearly no problems with drivers, except Clod (white lines) and DCS. I Asked you because some dudes have problems running Clod online on Win8.1 (stutters) and I will be glad if Win10 we can run smooth, but maybe this problem is only related to Nvidia, because I only see nvidia users having this kind of issue.

 I did not have the white lines, at least with Catalyst 14.9.2 Beta drivers, when testing earlier today. Even went online and all seemed fine. Have to check the exact "windows fix" I applied, but had to do with some DPI things at higher resolutions etc. In game I have disabled SSAO and using fullscreen/VSync. Grass is off as it just looks hideous popping in and out around your plane :(

Yep, I have a similar setup and mine runs fine. 

AMD Phenom II X6 @ 4.2Ghz

8Gb DDR3  1600Mhz

AMD R9 270x 2Gb

Win 7 X64

 

Settings are: All High @ 1920*1200

 

See this video that I make to show how well run, frames drop some times because I recording.

 Finns had Gladiators during WW2. Used mostly at "quieter" fronts, Swedes with volunteer group F19 up in Lapland as well. They shot down a TB-3 too! Gladiators were regarded as very maneuverable, on par with I-153, but lacked proper pilot protection and caught fire very easily. Armament was not considered too good, required deflection to hit pilot or other vulnerable parts of the plane with good results. But will be interesting to see these planes :)

Nice video by the way, shows the splendid damage model in cod, for those not flown cod, I can only recommend it. It is very rewarding to fly and master

The video Chief posted is from Team Fusion. If memory serves me correctly. Mystic Puma posted this on a TF update several months ago. The mirror in this video is a matte and not a working mirror. I do believe he said that Team Fusion was working on mirrors.

This mod looks awesome!

 

Do you think i could play the mod with this set up?

AMD FX-8350 8 core clocked @ 4.0Ghz, possibly going to be overclocked to 4.5-4.8

8GB off DDR3 ram clocked @ 1333Mhz

AMD R9 270 2GB of DDR5 ram

 

My current setup, simply wont even run Clod. 

 

You have some settings set wrong then. If I were you I'd consider upgrading your RAM to 16G.. but that's about it... I have the same CPU and am using a HD7870 GPU with 32G of RAM.. and I have no issues at all running pretty much anything.

I've only got 8GB ram, with a GTX780 and I can run CLoD maxed out, no problems...

If you have 2500K try to push it more for 4.5 GHz -  it made difference.

 

I got 2500K@ 4.5 GHz and GTX 670OC  and run near everything on max with 60 fps.

IIRC it's an issue in the QMB missions. In the mission editor, big cloud layers need to be set manually. I guess he just wanted a quick test and didn't bother with creating a whole new map just for a 5-min flight.

Dont worry. Clouds are all over the place in game(Depending on your graphics setting of course..)

I gueess that for this video he made a mission with Clouds around where he was going to fly for to record the video.
