How do I center the gunsight view?

Recommended Posts

In the FW 190 Im a bit to the left and high, to see thru the gunsight I have to lean to the right and down.

And this is my default view when pressing center in track IR

How do I position to have the gunsight aligned and save it for the next flights?

Pause Track IR - then you can move around your view with "Insert", "Del", "Home", "End", "PgUp" and "PgDwn"

When you are satisfied press F10 - this view will then be saved as your default view for when you center your Track IR.

You do realize this is all covered in the manual, right?

Awww poor Luke.

I wish more people would read your manual as well.  :)

But the poor chap got the answer he was looking for right away, so all is good.

Start a Quick Mission then use the bracket keys to slow down time. Its way easier to fine tune your view using the advice given by 9./JG27golani79, above.

Hello,

Just a suggestion : remap the F10 key to something like RCTL + F10 (I have remapped it ot RCTL+RSHF+F10), this prevents you to accidentally activate the save view option. ;)

Have fun.

Or change speed and inertia on camera options - this give you needed precision.
