I'm reasonably sure some of the LL Mk Vs came with the Merlin 46 but what about the other power plants used in the Mk V, like the Merlin 45M and 50M. Did they see service in the Soviet Union?

Aside from just development time/resources involved? There was a Poll at some Point P-40E vs. Hurricane and the P-40 won. Anyways, I think about 60-70% of Mk.Vbs in Russia had the Merlin 46. Adding more Engine Variants (DB601N and Ba for Bf110E, DB601Aa for 109E-7, 1.42ata for 109G-2, Uprated P-40E to 56" etc.) according to Jason is a luxury item, so we may get it if the demand and funding is great enough.

The current Emil really only comes into it's Element at 5000m and above. So far as I'm aware they didn't get any M spec Merlins with the cropped impeller? 12lbs at 3000rpm if I'm correct, so it's not gonna be a World Beater, considering the 16lbs of the Mk.I with 100 Octane. Or is there a chance for a higher rating?

It would have been cool to have the option of a clipped and cropped LF, with just a few more horses than standard, to help chase the 190s down through the weeds.
