puckeredup Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Bought Yak 127 FANTASTIC! No issues for the first 5 weeks, now my track IR centres looking down at the seat and gauges. Any ideas as all the other planes are fine?
Remontti Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Use F10 to save new default view. Take off your trackir for a moment, use mouse to move camera and then save that position with f10. Other option is to delete certain files and the game will recreate them upon startup. I just don't remember what those files were. If you use search you will find the answer as this quite common question in the forums.
puckeredup Posted January 31, 2017 Author Posted January 31, 2017 Thank you for the prompt reply. Have tried your fix which does center the view from trak iR however my view is now from close to the gun sight as though on zoom. I cannot move the position back even with minus. This makes the plane virtually useless as a fighting tool. You mention files to delete and would appreciate any help as i really do not want to wipe clean and do a full re install. If I do have to, can I save my key settings and use them on the reinstall? Oh and last night the Yak 127 was perfect for about 10 secs then went back to the zoom setting.

If it was fine then you may have multiple keys bound to the same button on your joystick. You can have 3 actions on one button. If you have 4 bound one won't respond at all. Check all view key binds Try to remember what you pressed first when it went crazy. Edited January 31, 2017 by TunaEatsLion
bald_eagle Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 just delete this file(move it to some temp dir until you are sure you don't need it). and start the game. You will get back the default view. ...\IL-2\data\LuaScripts\snapviews\yak1s127.svc
puckeredup Posted January 31, 2017 Author Posted January 31, 2017 Thanks for the help. File deletion cured it! Cheers
