=EXPEND=CG_Justin Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 HI all, I'm looking for info on which LW units used the Tatzelwurm emblem on the eastern front. I'd also like to know the year and color of the Tatzelwurm if possible. I've looking but finding conflicting info.

unreasonable Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 On eastern front only I/JG3 AFAIK. In staffel colours - Staff = green, 1st = White, 2nd = Black (possibly red before Barbarossa?) 3rd = Yellow. I/JG3 was withdrawn in Sep 1941 and became II/JG1, keeping its wurms until 1944 IIRC, but never flew on the eastern front. Hope that agrees with SPEKTRE's details.
