=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Me too, hope you all like it. I'll be adding a 'Euro-Safe' Hakenkreuz layer to it as well a historical layer. "Euro Safe" ?? wth is that Great work (can't wait for atleast a couple of the stock skins in 4K)

SOLIDKREATE Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 (edited) "Euro Safe" ?? wth is that Great work (can't wait for atleast a couple of the stock skins in 4K) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strafgesetzbuch_section_86a bzc3lk is correct legally and what I meant was using the 1C modified Hakenkreuz for my European pilot brothers. ====== The template is coming along excellent. I am replacing the entire 'Airplane Parts' layer with completely new textures that are much higher resolution. Then I will work on panel lines and rivets, fasteners, cam-locks ect. I will include two sample skins with my release. Don't expect something in a day though guys. I have a full time job, family and school. I almost didn't have school but I was wait listed on a class I really needed and I am actually two weeks behind due to when they called me. I should catch up soon. My goal is to have it out by the end of February. ====== NEW Default Summer and Winter variants. Can't promise 1C will implement though. Edited February 4, 2017 by II./ZG1_SPEKTRE76 2
KG200_Volker Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 (edited) My goal is to have it out by the end of February. We all know how skinners end up if you put to much pressure on them: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kgqep0h1tuo Thank you and all the guys for your efforts! SYN_Haashashin Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Hi all, Cleaned this topic up. Is about 4K skins, nothing else. 7. SOLIDKREATE Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 Just waiting for the G-2 template to hit so I can see how the artist arranged the components. I imagine it will somewhat different than the E-2 having the GK 3.7 Gondola.
Pierre64 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Give us template Google "Jean Nouvel", a famous (and talented) french architect...
1stCL/Werner Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Any update Spectre ? Can't wait to start o do 4K skins for 110, but i don't want to do something what already someone else do. On top of that your work is always excellent. On the other hand i can at least continue with my profile project
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Is this project dead? If so, you should really let another one of the template contributors know.
SOLIDKREATE Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) No it is not dead. I cannot tell you why it has not been updated. But the reason was for all of you. Been doing work for Jason. Edited March 7, 2017 by 10.N./ZG1_SPEKTRE76 3
PanzerPajamas Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Great news! Looking forward to seeing the outcome.
Asgar Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 i'm looking forward to making a set of new skins for ZG26
Asgar Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 i think the bumb maps are saved under data/graphics/planes/planename/textures
SOLIDKREATE Posted April 14, 2017 Author Posted April 14, 2017 (edited) Okay progress preview will come tomorrow evening. It's coming along nicely. There is a service port that needs correction. And now that I have been led to the bump map, I can do this. In fact I can now add other details to the skin that I could not beforehand. I am also in the process of deleting all the bump data for the rivets. They look like stitching rather that fasteners. So the skin will be done first but the bump will take some time. I really hope you all like it when I release it. Edited April 14, 2017 by 10.N./ZG1_SPEKTRE76 1
SOLIDKREATE Posted April 15, 2017 Author Posted April 15, 2017 Progress update 1. I'm going rivet by rivet and panel by panel just as the plane is built.
SOLIDKREATE Posted April 16, 2017 Author Posted April 16, 2017 Image in post #1 updated. This is a time consuming process. You may ask why is this guy texturing the metal and fabric that no one will see? I will tell you, it is because my name is going on it. I do not do mediocre work. It will also be beneficial to all Skinner's because now they will be able to decide how deep a scratch goes into the paint. Do they want it to go into the primer, below the first cote of paint or all the way down to the metal. I wan this template to be the Sistine Chapel of templates. I am even going to add the manufacturer logo's on the tires (tyres). I am also adjusting the alpha so that what is not supposed to shinny isn't. - Isaac 4
KG200_Volker Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 I don't know how to thank you for your valuable time and effort you put in to this for the rest of us. ~Sallutte~

4SCT_Vespa Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Outstanding SPEKTRE...I really admire your passion for realism, details and just best work...can't wait to see your artwork completed. 1
PanzerPajamas Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Remarkable detail. Almost a shame to cover it with paint! Keep up the good work. 1
SOLIDKREATE Posted April 18, 2017 Author Posted April 18, 2017 Remarkable detail. Almost a shame to cover it with paint! Keep up the good work. Yes but this will make deep scratches look more realistic =o)
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I know you're a busy guy but this one is really creeping along. 1
SOLIDKREATE Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 I know you're a busy guy but this one is really creeping along. Yes I know. And yes I am very busy. I haven't even flown in a month. I do most of my work on the weekends concerning stuff like this. I will be out of state this weekend. I will have more progress if not done by May 14th or 15th.
SCG_Schneemann Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Thank you. Waiting patiently - it will be worth it.
SOLIDKREATE Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 I also didn't tell you guys but I have told Jason; I had to start over. But it will be done and before May is done. I am trying to find out what color the primer was on the aircraft. I want to include all paint layers. This is for weathering the plane when you get it. You be able to determine how deep a scratch is or rub-offs are. For this template I will only throw some light grime on it. I haven't seen a severely weathered 110 in any real photos yet. Maybe on the winter planes yes because they used that temporary 'Wasserhell' paint. Plus I am positioning like 1000 rivets LOL. No promises, but I will try and work the alpha so you can make a Bf-110G-3 with the ESK-2000 Camera. Okay in about two hours I will be Oregon bound. See you all later!
Danziger Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Awesome work! This is what I still want to do with the MiG-3. However, with my wife getting out of the army and us planning our future I haven't been able to work on it for a few months. That is my same goal though to make the most realistic details as possible. 1
