LuftManu Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Wow! Looks fantastic, Love the renders of the planes!
ParaB Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 One thing I'd love to see ingame is the massive, thick smoke over Stalingrad. 3
LuftManu Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 One thing I'd love to see ingame is the massive, thick smoke over Stalingrad. Rof already had some type of "Smoke" on the Frontline, hope the editors can place some Thick somke over the city and raided airfields!
J4SCrisZeri Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 super cool! Love the tech work behind such final results.
Bearcat Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 I'd like to see troops running from the truck.. If they aren't there someone will probably crawl from under a rock demanding a refund because they were "lied to".. great video.. 3
LuftManu Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 The best is that only the post efects are edited, looks like everything else, (not humans and smoke from guns) are from the real game
Foobar Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 It states what a massive load of work it is to create such a video. 1
Trident_109 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 George Lucas! This is how to do animation without over doing it.
SR-F_Winger Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Awesome. You guys know what you are doing. Makes me want to fly even harder. Thanks for the link OP. Winger
smink1701 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Thanks for posting. If that doesn't get your little pilot going, nothing will.
LuftManu Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Except the scenery/terrain and the sky/clouds and the animation for the aircraft and the muzzle flash. Great trailer though. The terrain actually looked very similar to what we have, the difference could be with the View Distance, but fingers crose they use some elevation maps
Fifi Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Awesome fantastic video!! We'll never realise enough, how much work this involve! A master piece of historical art!
AcesHigh Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 (edited) So your saying this is an official BOS Pre-Order trailer? What is this. At 1:11 in the video there are summer textures, so are we getting summer textures too cause they looked awfully nice not covered up by all the white snow Edited December 5, 2013 by AcesHigh
AcesHigh Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 (edited) I saw summer textures @ 1:11 before they took it down! Edited December 5, 2013 by AcesHigh
dburne Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 I saw summer textures before they took it down! LOL, that may have been the problem...
Skoshi_Tiger Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Very nice. I am waiting for a sim that can have persistent, real time battlefield smoke like at 2:07 (That doesn't pop up). Cheers!
Uufflakke Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 I saw summer textures @ 1:11 before they took it down! Those are not summer textures but it is a Google Earth image. You can see, in full screen, the word 'Google' all over the satellite image. 1
JG4_Greif Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Can we unlock the retractable tailwheel on the Lagg? The plane looks better the way it is in the trailer
FlyingNutcase Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 That was impressive. You can tell when someone has passion when the behind-the-scenes vid is a piece of art in itself.
Uufflakke Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 Can anyone tell me what the music is? JG4_Sputnik Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 thanks for sharing if we only had ground textures like this
Mogster Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 If only we had ground textures, persistent battlefield smoke, clouds, people, like the video... Seriously the final product isn't going to look anything like that is it???? Maybe in 15 years with BOS IV.
