Problem pitch axis

One member of my squad has a very strange bug. Since yesterday when he assign an axis to the RPM asix slot, it shows on the menu but on the plane it does not work. Then when he uses the throttle, the picth moves as well. We all thought he made a mistake and assigned both the rpm and the throttle to the same axis but not. His configuration is correct. Steps we have done to isolated the problem:

 

Change both axis (rpm to throttle and viceversa) = Same problem (still throttle moves both, axis is dead despite it shows movement on the menu)

 

Tried only one axis. If one axis is assign to the RPM it does not work (but it shows in the imput menu it moves), if only one axis is assign to the throttle it moves both throttle and RPM.

 

Deleted the imput folder (unsuccessful)

 

Deleted the game and reinstall (unsuccessful)

 

Tried with a different joystic from another brand (unsuccessful and reproduced exactly all of above)

 

We are running out of ideas. Any suggestion?

We think we have found the problem. Yes guys, he forgot to deactivate the Auto Engine in the realism settings. He swears the problem happend for the first time while he was on an expert server so he never thought that was the problem... but we have our doubts. He was this close to format windows out of dispair... I think a court martial is coming his way.
