Gambit21 Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 ...is there a difference in the overcast and snow settings? I can't tell...seems not.
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 on the overcast its not snowing.on the snow its snowing (maybe your graphics not high enough? )
TP_Jacko Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 If you select snow and no precipitation I am sure it should snow. Also temperature I guess needs to be set below 0
Habu Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 You have to set Overcast if you want to have snow, if my memory is good.
Gambit21 Posted January 24, 2017 Author Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) I mean is there a difference between the different overcast settings independent of snow, or any difference between the snow settings. They all look the same to me. Edited January 24, 2017 by Gambit21
Habu Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Yep there is diference between the overcast settings and the snow settings. As for cloud, the overcast settings change the altitude and the height like the cloud. When you select an overcast setting, you see below : the altitude and height settings of the overcast you select (like for clouds). For the snow, the setting is the level of snow fall. You can see it in the editor, in turning your editor screen to 3D, you'll see the snow.
curiousGamblerr Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Off topic, but I'm going to assume this means you'll have us flying Tante Ju in some really bad weather
Gambit21 Posted January 28, 2017 Author Posted January 28, 2017 I've been playing with a particular snow mission for over a week...I have to say I don't see a lick of difference in the snow between no matter the setting. I've gone from 1 all the way to 7
