J2_Jakob Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Hello, I tried to install IL2 BoS on my friend's PC during Saturday. The installation went smoothly to the point of updating. The progress went to about 98%, then it said Update Failed. His OS is Win 10 Home IIRC. I've tried to delete the content of the 'updates' folder (and eventually even do a complete uninstall and start from scratch) but the issue persists. Is there anything else I should try? Or is it ripe for a support ticket?

WWSitttingDuck Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Had the same issue on my pc (which was the server). Turned out there were a couple instances of Dserver.exe still running in task manager. Once I killed them, update finished fine. so you might want to check that out.

I doubt this will be an issue, because we haven't run the Dserver even once and the PC was restarted / turned off multiple times since then. (Tried to update the game again yesterday after the new patch - issue persists.) So unless the Dserver found its way into automatically executed tasks after startup, this probably won't help. But thanks anyway...
