Stupid question about the battle of Kuban DLC

I own both BOS and BOM and both are through Steam.

 

If I buy into Kuban will the new planes etc. show up in my BOS on Steam or do i have to have a 1C purchased game?

Buy from 1C and everything will be unlocked on your steam version.  Just make sure to activate your key on the website.

To make things a little clearer:

 

BoK is not really a "DLC", there is nothing to download, everything related to BoK that has been released yet is already installed in your copy of the sim.

 

BoS, BoM and BoK are not seperate games, they are part of the same game all of which is installed when you download the game. There is always only one version of the game. People who own only BoS have exactly the same things installed as people who own only BoM, they just have access to different content within the game, and it's the same for BoK as more stuff gets released for that.

 

When you buy something new, it is therefore available to you immediately when you start the game after activating the product code - provided ofc that it has been released and isn't preorder - no download needed.

I couldn't remember if it worked like DCS, where you have a steam and a non-steam games.

 

When I bought into BOM it was on Steam so I didn't know.
