Alt+tab doesn't work anymore since 2.006

I run a twin monitor configuration (W7 and nvidia 970 gtx). Before 2.006, mouse scrolled across the two displays and I used to play BoS and manage other applications on the second display in the same time (teamspeak, maps...). It was even possible to use alt+tab keys to switch from one to another application.

Since 2.006, I know the mouse is still locked on main game screen but i can't use alt+tab anymore to jump to others applications. I tried windowed and not windowed mode without any results. Any help please ?

I need to press alt+tab once, then it flickers little, then I need to press it again and while holding it pressed select another window. It is a bit cumbersome but works this way for me.

I run a similar set up Touch (43 inch main,24 second and a 7 third for TS), HOLD the alt key down and tap the tab key to change back and forth.

I have a similar setup to you. You need to change a setting in your startup.cfg and you can have your cursor back across two monitors.

 

 

From update 2.006:

 

7. Mouse input is now exclusive (mouse cursor won't move outside the game window). This change is optional and can be turned off in startup.cfg, [KEY = input] section, exclusive = 0/1;

Ok with all of you guy but the issue for me is the alt+tab combination key doesn't work anymore since 2.006 !

I dont understand what might be the problem other than windows 7 Aero causing issues.

Alt+tab Works 100% fine for me atleast 100 times per battle when i switch to discord or webpage to check plane spawn prices.

I run fullscreen and Alt Tab Fine all the time.

Have you peoples setup an Nvidia profile for IL2 or just running control panel Default settings?

I run Nvidia default settings and don't use any il2 profile.

Alt+tab works fine anytime else with any others applications but BoS. It used to work before 2.006. I didn't change anything else.

Well i would recommend a profile (there is NO other way to properly use an Nvidia card for gaming)
Unless you Make a PROFILE for every game - this is a must!

(The slider for Performance >> Quality in auto manage 3d settings does not do much or the right things.)

as for why you can't alt tab.
you on windows 7 or 10 (on either try disable Aero peek and themes)

Alt+tab is not working for me either. Was fine before 2.006 patch. That mouse setting is not making any difference.

This was brought up in another thread. Some users have this problem, some don't. A few updates back it was broke, got fixed, and then with 2.006 it broke again. One of those bugs that keeps coming back to life.
