So in all of my PWCG missions, regardless of wind, my plane wobbles violently on every axis.

 

I also noticed that this wobbling happens to the AI as well.

 

My turn and slip indicators are constantly swinging back and forth and there seems to be no pattern to the wobbling.

 

The missions are still flyable, however it's really annoying.

 

I also double checked Quick Mission and Multiplayer after it happened on each mission and it only happens in PWCG missions. It's not my controls or settings that's doing it.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? How can I fix it?

 

Edit: I'm sorry. I just realized that PWCG has it's own entire subforum. I originally clicked into 3rd party apps forum section looking for an existing PWCG thread and upon not finding it, hastily made this thread.

Hi Scojo, I also noticed this, but it got much better, when I changed the wind turbulence in the advanced configurations from the default '3' to '1'. But this, unfortunately didn't change the wobbling of AI. This seems to be some sort of overregulating of AI pilots, which I also notice in 'Campaign' missions.

Is this PWCG or the game engine itself?

If the latter, Patrick won't be able to do something about it.

The player wobbling seems to be caused by PWCG, as it never happened to me in 'Campaign' missions. The AI wobbling also appears in the 'Campaign', but seems to me, to be more present in PWCG. But I am not really sure about the second.

Only on missions generated by PWCG

 

And thanks, Yogi, I'll try to find that setting. I don't mind turbulence but as of right now its on EVERY PWCG mission and everywhere on the map, which is annoying.

I can confirm this annoying wobbling in PWCG missions only.Keeps me away from using it for the moment

Did you try setting wind turbulence to 1 instead of the default 3? It made it much better flyable to me. But AI stays wobbling, unfortunately.

Yup. I did but it doesent make much difference at all. Its like you´re constantly gliding on a Piece of Soap ^^

All I can tell you is that Patrick does not change the flight model of the aircraft.

So, in theory, all aircraft should behave the same in the sim, whether it be in PWCG or in QM or in the "vanilla" campaign.

 

That said; I feel there is a difference in PWCG compared to the vanilla game when AI behavior is concerned, so you may have a point here.

Just turn off wind and turbulence to 0. I actually like it, it gives you some realism.

 

Other than that, there is no magic wobbling in the missions that is different from the rest of the game.
