OLD SP MISSION DON'T CHARGE IN GAME

Please anyone can tell me how I can load mission coming from original game after 2.06 patch? I've tried to read in 2.06 release notes but nothing was clear to me. any help will be much appreciated.   thank you.

Many of the SP missions have been already been re done for 2.06, it may be worth checking mission section forum, there is also lots of info there on how to re-save old ones to the new format

thank you darkpilot, unfortunately I've not been able to find anything on mission forum that can help me about how to make SP mission to work after patch 2.06. So if you (or anyone else) can address me with a link here where to watch into the forum precisely I will be we happy and thankful.

This was mostly discussed in the mission building forum here, for example: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/26660-error-reading-mission-file-after-update-already-deleted-msbi/.

 

In essence, you should do this:

 

• Look into the \data\missions folder. Do you have all 9 files of your mission, or just one, the *.msbin file?
• If you have all 9 files:
  • Delete the .msbin file
  • Open the IL2 Mission Editor
  • Try to open the .mission file of your mission
  • If it loads successfully: Save it, and close Mission Editor. You can now use that mission in 2.06.
  • If it does not load, chances are that your mission includes complex triggers. In this case, you need to edit the .mission file manually, in a text editor like Notepad or Scite. Open the .mission file in your text editor, and replace "CheckEntities" with "CheckPlanes" as described in the discussion linked above. Save the .mission file when you are done.
  • Now open the .mission file in Mission Editor. If it opens, save it, and you're good to use that mission.
• Note that saving the mission in Mission Editor will recreate the .msbin file.
• If you have only the .msbin file for an older mission, then the above conversion will not be possible.

You may also look into the Mission Making forum at https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/forum/92-mission-making-and-mission-editor/ and check whether someone has already converted your favorite mission.

Like andyw248 stated look into the Mission Making forum.  Right now I have working in 2.06 4 Scripted 3 official and PWCG campaigns. Also in my missions folder I have 3 other campaigns.

 

I think that is enough to keep one busy flying for awhile.

thank you all guys who help and cleared me what to do as to play SP missions after 2.06 patch. I just can't undersand why admins of this forum didn't made a stiky tread about this problem.

However thank you all who help me, very appreciated.
