Quick question I do not see these two collector planes on Steam for purchase. Can they only be bought through the web site?

As of now you can only buy through the website but if you do the planes become available in your Steam account once you have activated them in the web site.

They will then appear in Quick Mission etc and you can use them normally. Trust me - I have done it!

It's not unreasonable in the least bit.  The website gives a larger portion of the funds to the developers instead of having to give money to Valve for the steam purchase.  Considering we are a small community and funds are one of the major problems in releasing more content I am MORE than happy to purchase the game via the website.  You achieve the EXACT SAME FUNCTIONALITY in the game - even if you bought your game on Steam - when you purchase the planes via the website.  They are bound to the account.

So what was unreasonable again about website purchases allowing the game to have more/better content and give players the exact same functionality?

unreasonable is the low price on steam and supporting steam imho..

I bought the game from website and the planes i wanted because i wanted to pay 1c/777 (100% of the money) not 40% of the money on steam)

:)  It has only happened twice in my 2000+ posts, so it cannot be a very good method....
