BOM Printable maps (A1) with german WW2 style

After posting the maps for BOS, here you can find the maps for Battle of Moscow. I would like to thank Zeus for sending me the map tiles for BOM, so I could prepare the basic in-game map.

 

I have included in the download the real maps in which I based my maps. Real maps are smaller in size than the A1 format that I made, meaning that they naming of the map sheets (Z56, Z57, etc..) is not coincident with the real Z56, Z7, and so on.

 

I wished the in-game map looked a little bit more like a real aeronautical chart, because they are much easier to read. In real maps roads and railroads are more visible. On the ingame, they become to thin when zoomed out to a size suitable for medium distance navigation. But, this is the map we have and I have tried to give it a little more contrast to make it easier to read. Even with that limitation, the 300k maps are easy to read and visual navigation is possible with the map. The 1:500K is harder to read and it would need the roads, railways and airfields to be highlighted somehow... But it would take a lot of time and I would rather to release the first version as it is.

 

The scale of the maps is correct when they are printed on A1 size. i.e. on the 1:300 000 maps, 3,33cm on the paper equal to 10km of BOM terrain. Also the graphical scale on the cener lower section of the map is accurate.

When LoupVert asked for the files, I checked all the hard drives and the Google drive which I usually work with. I had forgotten about this account completely...?‍♂️
