Wish we had a server based in the US similar to WoL

At the very least we would have English server messages and better ping. Better aircraft selections and loadouts would also be nice too. I doubt this is gonna happen anytime soon, if at all, but a man can wish right!

Have you flown mine? EARTH MOVERS INC.  ???

It's up right now. Just had some fun with some US players and some Euro's. My server is US based with a low tick delay of 1.5 and as high as 2.1 in game with combat. My line is 256mb/s from Comcast Xfinity.

I haven't but I'll be sure to check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up man!

SPEKTRE right now I'm unable to fly, but when I get back home in a few days I'm eager to test your server! If its everything what I expect I will recommend it to all my friends! :salute:

It would definitely be nice to have. I'd defiantly fly it.

You know the server you were flying on yesterday was an American server. It's on the East coast.

Isn't this what the Eagle's nest is?

Yes, thats what I was eluding too. Beazil has been flying on an American server this whole time.

Had a blast flying with you guys last night.  My wingman Nyap and I are always looking for servers to play on - but they are hard to find.  Wings is a good time, but the ping can get bad, you can take forever to get in, and even if you do, you can get kicked just because of physical distance.  Eagle's Nest is a more recent "discovery" of ours, and one of the nicest surprises was logging a couple of nights ago and watching the number of people joining going up to compete with some of the more popular servers in terms of numbers (sometimes I see very few if any people on a given server so this was nice to see).  Plus because only so many of us can fly at once on any given server, it makes good sense (to me) for us in North America to have some additional options.  After all, I'd like to see alot more than just one or two servers competing for numbers.  I want to have a hard time choosing because they are all so good.  Sometimes we go to join some servers and we get ctd's, dropped connections, infinite load screens to alt/tab and find a crashed game - little bugs that I'm sure effect alot of people online from all over the world.  Closer servers are better options, most of the time and assuming numbers are not an issue.

I would love it if we could have no limits on numbers for a map, but so far we are limited to whatever finite number the server can acomodate.

I have a server that I use for web hosting mostly, with a 150 Mbps down 30 Mbps up connection, I am currently making some missions and will be testing out performance. Located in Western Canada, so it may be an option for folks in NA. I had a few people connect earlier tonight just to see if my ports were forwarded properly, and their ping was about 35ms- much better than the 200+ us NA people face when on WOL
