So I didnt think this could get any better-until I tried it in Photoshop

Im not sure what it is but the way photoshop handles layers and colors is so much finer than gimp. Set me back a bit recovering my work from gimp but damn, great results.

There is no Normal map to be found in the provided skinpack_zip of the OP(as one minnute ago).

Hello the template A-3 has some problems with the alpha channel.

Today I downloaded A3 skinpack twice. Both times only desert skin actually unzipped. Got a win msg that archive was corrupt. A5 skins extracted fine.

I have the same problem, can't unzip the file, says its corrupted.
