curiousGamblerr Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 (edited) Make sure your PC isn't on "Power Saving" profile. I built a beast of a PC recently (almost the same as you, 1080 and i7) and when I first installed was getting 22FPS and flipped out. Turned out it was on "Power Saving" and since changing to "High Performance" my frames are 100+ in the air with everything maxed out. Also make sure you check in the game. The menu is locked at 60FPS for me and only goes up when I actually load into the cockpit. Edit: Just checked, I was confusing the Windows power settings with the Nvidia ones. The specific setting I was talking about is in the Nvidia control panel, you want "Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance" Edited January 8, 2017 by 19.GIAP//curiousGamblerr
Extreme_One Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Are you certain the game is running via the 1080 and not your onboard graphics? Press "Windows-R" to open the "Run" tool, type "devmgmt.msc" into the box and then click "OK." Double-click the "Display Adapters" category in the Device Manager window to display its contents. Right-click the graphics device labeled "Onboard" or "Integrated" and select "Disable
=E3F=Darkfedor Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 thanks for your answers but my problem still slow my game.
Extreme_One Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 (edited) Which driver version are you running for your GFX card? Silly question: you haven't enabled the frame limiter in game options have you? Edited January 8, 2017 by Extreme_One
=E3F=Darkfedor Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 Geforce Game Ready Driver 36.33, and yes i've disable it.
Extreme_One Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Geforce Game Ready Driver 36.33, and yes i've disable it. Guessing you mean 376.33 : the latest one. Have you tried other games? Is BOS the only one you're experiencing low fps? 1
150GCT_Veltro Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Is your PSU strong enough? +1 750 - 850 W for sure. What's your PSU?
Dutchvdm Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 +1 750 - 850 W for sure. What's your PSU? 750/850 for a single GTX 1080 is a bit of overkill. You can handle SLI with that. But even with a single 1080 i would not go below 600. Grt M
=E3F=Darkfedor Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 My Pc run very correctly battlefield one (55-80fps) so IL-2 could run perfectly I've a 750W PSU
=E3F=Darkfedor Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 My settings are in max quality, but i've already test with the min one. After a quick check, i add to your reflection that in solo mission that work perfectly (50-90fps)
Dakpilot Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 If you are only able to get max 25fps although unlikely it is possible that BoS is associated with the on board D530 IGPU are you certain that BoS is using dedicated GTX1080 Cheers Dakpilot
=E3F=Darkfedor Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 IL-2 work perfectly out the multiplayer, so i'm sure that he use my GTX1080 and not the CPU graphic 1
Dutchvdm Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Do you have problems with all servers? Grt M
=E3F=Darkfedor Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 Depend of server, i run betwen 20-35FPS but in my favorite (wing of liberty) it's pretty bad
=E3F=Darkfedor Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 DED run 65-90FPS, perfect. I understand nothing
joji Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I also upgraded my PC recently especially for BOS. Until know I thought the game itself is terribly optimized. But I just realized that the terrible performance I get is only on wings of liberty server. What is up with that server? If I spin up quick match with fur ball of 16 AI + me it's no problem. But when I spawn to WOL it stutters like crazy.
JonRedcorn Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 The solution is simple, avoid wings of liberty.

It's by far the jitteriest server for me, but that makes sense as its on the other side of the world from me. Try on KOTA and Combat Box and see what you get. KOTA is based in central europe (Hungary I think?) and Combat Box is in North America. Combat Box in particular has been really popular lately so you can see if its the activity or the server connectivity causing teh issues.
