SCG_Space_Ghost Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Too many rivets on canopy i think. Good eye, mate.
bzc3lk Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Thank you for your effort Hartmann, certainly way better than I could hope to achieve. Could I please offer an observation illustrated below concerning to my eye an excess amount of rivets around the engine air intake. I have included an original unrestored sample picture, as I do believe some museums take the "creative license" approach during the restoration process with some examples, so caution has to be exercised when using reference pictures from restored samples. bzc3lk Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 nice spotting that.. now i have seen it i cant unsee it.. I don't usually comment on such issues as I have little to no expertise in this area, but i agree "now i have seen it i can't unsee it". Hartmann please accept my criticism as a constuctive observation.
A-E-Hartmann Posted January 31, 2017 Author Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) It's easy to criticize when you do nothing . The original template contains many defects and it did not shock anyone or nobody reported it . At the moment it in W.I.P so nothing is definitive . My data base from documents and of this site:http://www.net-maquettes.com/fr/pictures/messerschmitt-bf-109e/. Edited January 31, 2017 by A-E-Hartmann
