The answer is, "no."

Not sure why you would want to.

Closest I can get with TSIA is - This Says It All. I think he is expressing disdain with a feature creep type question. I'm mostly on board if he is.

Well to fire the flare gun out the window lol and TSIA is meant to be title says it all.

Also, I meant no disrespect. Sorry if I came off that way man.

I believe it is a little circle in the window on the left side. I need to check.

Its on the right side. When you pull the flare gun with the cannopy closed the pilot puts it on the flare gun port hole, you cant miss it as the flaregun is very big and gets in the way of some instruments.

I would love being able to open up the window, too bad its not possible.  :(

In Clod (dont flame me just sayin) opening the window does increase the ability to hear other aero engines (so if you a searching for a low bomber in a zero flak environment) but i cant say its a feature i often thought about...

I think its a valid question to ask    - i know "the answer is still "no" :-)

I can't really imagine that was a 'feature' used by 109 pilot's IRL, I imagine there would be extra noise from airflow and prop noise? but maybe not..

Sure of course  it would be nice, but as said the "need" is not really worth the work in introducing a new function/extra key press mechanic for two "open" features on 109, as mentioned feature creep is a real thing, and something handled well by this Dev team, add just one extra feature to every aircraft type and before you know it months have been added to Dev time

In a perfect world...bla...bla.. :) there would be the budget to spare and extra manpower more time and millions of sales to cover it, but there comes a sticking point in how long people are prepared to wait and pay for a product, this road has been travelled in the past  ;)

Cheers Dakpilot

"Titles Says It All"

I do miss being able to open the side window in my 109 - I always did this on take-off/landing when I flew campaigns with ACG.
