E69_julian57 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Very good, I hope to see historical skins of teachers. Greetings and thanks
Dakpilot Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Thanks for the work! very nice very noticeable improvement looking out of the cockpit at the wings etc, on 4K screen previously even on very well done skins there was always a bit of 'low res' pixelation (not the skinners fault) Cheers! Dakpilot
ICDP Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 New version of this skin is available along with a standard Eastern Front summer camo version. Use the original link again to get the updated version.
JG77-FluGb0t- Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Can't understand, why developers hide BMW logo?
Brano Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Because BMW is a trademark logo that you cant use without permission on saleble content. So simple.
JG77-FluGb0t- Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Because BMW is a trademark logo that you cant use without permission on saleble content. So simple. Very simple, but BMW logo present on skin inside game, and hide on template. What the point?
ICDP Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Are you sending your template in to 1C? I'm not sure of how it works but if they want it they can have it to make it official. I have asked Jason if there are issues with having the full swastika included and have sent him a link to the finished paintkit. Edited January 5, 2017 by ICDP

JG77-FluGb0t- Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Lawyers? They have nothing to do with this, lol. That was Il-2 developers decision. Actually this is a rhetorical question, that what they did does not make sense. That's it.

Unless otherwise indicated, all trademarks on this website are subject to trademark rights of BMW AG, including marks, model names, logos, and emblems. http://www.bmw.com/com/en/general/imprint/legal_disclaimer.html Together with the Northrop Grumman fiasco in the IL2 Pacific Fighters edition as discussed in the link below, so yes lawyers can become involved if the Developer chooses to travel the slippery slope. http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=27537 Edited January 6, 2017 by bzc3lk 1

I said, if logo present inside game, it makes no sense to hide on the template. Nothing more. Original skin "FW190a3_Public" Original template "FW190a3_Public" Also, logo was made in a mirror and without abbreviations "BMW". It completely makes no sense to hide. BlackHellHound1 Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 I just did a little test to see if the BMW logo is even on the template at all... It ISN'T!!! It is part of a locked template that can not be edited by us. The devs did not remove anything from the template. In fact. You can't even remove the logo if you wanted to. BlackHellHound1

VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Just checked against a 2k skin. What a difference! Can't wait for all the templates to be ready though I'm sure it must be a lot of work to complete one.
Pilot_Rabbit Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Did you update your skin with new rivets remake?
