Problem starting game after trying VR

Hi,  I tested out VR with my Vive before the DX11 update.  It never really worked for me and would like to play the game on my pc screen, unfortunately every time i try to load the game it launches Steam VR and i can get it back to nonVR version.  I tried doing a clean install from steam and it still doesnt work. Any tips on how to fix it? thanks

Run the games .exe Directly (only a temp work around tho)


I Do not have the steam version but this should be the file path..

Steamapps\ common\ IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of XXXXXXX\ bin\ game\ IL2.EXE

did you change "or_enable = 0" in

1c game studios/il2/data/startup.cfg or the relevant steam location
