If Indiana Jones can do it...why not us?

Am knee deep in my second WWCOOP mission and was thinking about Indian Jones.  You know those scenes where the vintage plane flies across the screen and the way points trace a line across the map in the background?

 

Well my next mission is going to be called "Trainspotting" and will involve two Sorties.  The first will be flying the Russian train route with recon aircraft to "build the map" and map the locations of all the train stations for the second sortie.  Orders will be to fly in wingman pairs, Recon Aircraft and Fighter escort assigned to one of three sectors.

 

 

Complex triggers will identify the Recon Plane if it flies over, play a train bell (ding ding ding) and draw the icon at that location with a subtitle that says "Alpha Station Mapped".  Once you have mapped two train stations than the connector line gets enabled, so basically the waypoints get built under the plane as you travel over the targets.  I did that with a counter that had to =2 to draw the connector line.  The enemy get a subtitle that say "Enemy aircraft spotted at Alpha Station" so they can hunt down the recon wingman teams as well

The final result in mission is pretty cool....not exactly Indiana Jones, but pretty close
