DakkaDakkaDakka Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Happy New Year, all! I am just back and checking in on BoX after focusing on non-flight-sim games for a while. Wow... it's fantastic! I put hundreds of hours into RoF and very much looking forward to enjoying BoX the same. S!

DakkaDakkaDakka Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) Welcome back! The new IL-2 is really coming along isn't it? Hoping to put many more hours in this year as well! My goodness, I flew for close to 14 hours yesterday, with very few breaks. It was glorious! It has all of the feeling of flight of RoF combined with the power of WWII fighters. I know everyone can relate, but I still can't help from mentioning it. The Digital Nature engine is, for me, something very special and I'm so grateful to enjoy it in a new context. I have much to learn about proper deflection shooting and complex engine management, but I am loving every second of it. It feels both extremely comfortable and familiar but also exciting and new. I'm sorry for gushing but I'm just so happy. Thank you 1CS / 777 and the RoF/BoX community for creating this experience. Edited January 2, 2017 by surfimp 1
