Question on downloading and installing BOM

I was given BOM as a gift from the IL2 site (not Steam) and have activated the key. I already had BOS installed. Is there supposed to be a download and install of BOM? I start BOS and there are now banners for BOM as well as BOS. The BOM maps and planes like the 109 E7 are there as is the Moscow campaign (online only). I flew a QM at Moscow (looked very nice by the way).

 

I'm confused in that I expected a download of BOM to be installed along side BOS.

 

So, is there a download of BOM and an install that I've missed? Where are the BOM files?

All BoM/BoK and aircraft files are downloaded with BoS, this allows everyone access to all AI aircraft and use of all maps on MP regardless of modules/games bought, as each can also be bought as standalone

 

purchasing different modules/aircraft/campaigns allows access to new content

 

If you can fly on BoM map in BoM aircraft in QMB then all is fine (change map at top right of screen)

Thanks DakPilot, we can always count on you to help.

 

I rechecked and the Moscow Autumn and Winter map are there along with planes from BOM. I can fly them on BOM maps. I didn't notice any download when I activated the key or when I started BOS but certainly BOM seems to be present in the game and I see Moscow landscape and BOM skin folders for BOM planes like the E7, JU88 and PE 35 so I have to believe all is good.
