It was on Action Dogfight and Tanks server, it usually takes 15 minutes or so. Its quite fun.

Do you remember if you used AP or HE ammo? It seems some of the shells just penetrate and brake off parts. HE would probably explode

I used AP only. I found the penetration sometimes has a better effect on the targets hit. (See first shot on the He111 - the round went through the fuselage and into the left wing, you can see the damage in the fuselage if you look closely) Also AP will ricochet sometimes: See the target hit at 1400m, the round bounced off the ground before hitting the flak position.

 

Note: I normally use HE, but wanted to give AP a try. They both have pros and cons, generally I prefer HE against soft targets.
