dburne Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 In MMjoy2 firmware made by MegaMOZG, the guy that did VirPil electronics is possible set a button as "shift" for other buttons in firmware - don't need a software running in background like other joysticks. Maybe is good idea VirPil add this in T50 firmware. Well I guess that is what I was thinking it would do, give that ability in the firmware.
Piekarz Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) Question to dburne. Can You compare maximum centering force in Virpil Moon and VKB Gun?Regarding the 20cm extension and soft CAMs setup.Virpil has stronger spring setup than VKB Gunfighter?(The springs from Virpil looks biger and stronger)Gunfighter on four springs 50+40 50+40on both axis, feels a little bit to floppy IMHO.Thank You. Regarding the 20cm extension and soft CAMs setup. Virpil has stronger spring setup than VKB Gunfighter? (The springs from Virpil looks biger and stronger) Gunfighter on four springs 50+40 50+40 on both axis, feels a little bit to floppy IMHO. Thank You. I will probably be able to here in about a month or so. Have not set up my Gunfighter yet as I am awaiting the MCG Pro grip for it. I need to put in the springs and the extension for the Gunfighter as well, I have them just have not set them up in the gimbal as of yet. With the soft center cams and soft springs, my Virpil is a little floppy around center, but not bad. It feels just about right for me. The spring tensioner adjustment screws on top of the base allow for fine tuning as well. My first gimbal had the medium springs and hard center cams, and it was just too stout for my preferences. Jade_Monkey Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Do you need an extension cable with the metal extensions, or the cables are already long enough and folded inside? I was planning on getting the 75 mm extension.

Jade_Monkey Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Thanks! I was just checking, so i can order it all at once.
dburne Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Thanks! I was just checking, so i can order it all at once. You are most welcome! You are making a good choice with this setup, loving mine.
Jade_Monkey Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Im excited! VKB is delaying too many times and the excuses dont line up. I cancelled my pre-order. Virpil showed that they can deliver, so im happy to go with them. Also that throttle is looking mighty fine.

dburne Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 (edited) VPC Configurator Lite Demo (calibration, test only). No "press joystick buttons to press keyboard keys to press game commands"... for a while. I don't really care for software to emulate key presses, just want the ability to at least assign a button as a modifier in BoS. I really wish we had that ability built into the BoS controller setup menu, but since we don't would sure like to have it in the stick software. Edited December 6, 2017 by dburne
=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Well, I've pulled today trigger on that T-50CM. Now it's painful period of waiting for it to be delivered.
Pajeka Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Got mine a couple of weeks ago, very impressed! I’m sure you will have no regrets and hopefully, you won’t have to wait too long....

Jade_Monkey Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 I ordered the CM last week. Haven't heard anything since. Pajeka, how long did it take for yours to arrive? Did they send you a tracking number?
No_85_Gramps Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 I ordered the CM last week. Haven't heard anything since. I ordered the T-50 base/stick on 11/17 and still have not heard anything. If you notice on their web site, even though they are listed "in stock", it can take 10-14 business days before shipping. Tomorrow is day 14 for me and I will e-mail them for an update.
WWChunk Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 It took them exactly 14 days to send me my shipping notice, and I also ordered in November. Hope you hear soon, Gramps.
=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Oh, damn. That doesn't sound encouraging. I hoped to get it before Christmas.
Pajeka Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Pajeka, how long did it take for yours to arrive? Did they send you a tracking number? Hi, the T-50CM that I received was a Warranty replacement for a defective (no second detent on trigger) T-50BE returned for repair, so their was no ordering process involved for me. That said, it took exactly 7 days to be delivered (door to door) from Belarus to Scotland. Not sure whether it was because my case was a Warranty return, but I did receive an email from Virpil advising postage date which also included tracking number. I was pleasantly surprised at just how quick delivery was once parcel was in the postage system, particularly through Belarus Customs (outgoing). Hopefully you will experience a similar speedy delivery and will receive your grips before Christmas - Fingers crossed!
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Any news on when these will be coming back into stock on Amazon for Europe?
=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I got confirmation that order is accepted ... and that it may take up to two weeks to process it due to high demand. So no guarantees it will come before Christmas. If I knew it may take that long I'd actually go across the border and pick it myself

No_85_Gramps Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Mine hit the postal system today, 3 weeks from the date of my order. I had sent them an e-mail yesterday and today I got the confirmation. Based on what I have read it will be worth the wait.

Jade_Monkey Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I'll be visiting family for xmas and the 3.001 release being late in Jan I'm not that worried about the stick not being here in time. Getting it together with official Kuban release will be a treat.

Jade_Monkey Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Ordered on Nov 27, haven't heard anything regarding status or shipping. Any updates? I hope they can ship soon so it gets here before Jan 3rd.
Jade_Monkey Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 17 days and I haven't heard anything. I'm starting to get pissed. I already emailed them twice. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?
No_85_Gramps Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 I ordered mine 11/17 and it went to the postal system on 12/7, right at 14 working days as per the web site. As of now I'm not sure where it is, other than "in transit". I did email and also contacted then through the web site on 12/7, and received two replies the next day. I knew going in it might take a while, hopefully by early next week.

However, we're also awaiting a shipment of parts before the next batches can go out! Thank you for your patience. Edited December 15, 2017 by VIRPILControls

dburne Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Hi guys, quick video guide on using the software to update the firmware and calibrate + test the axes: My goodness that is a lot of loading and saving... Once all done, it is embedded into the firmware correct?
VIRPILControls Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 My goodness that is a lot of loading and saving... Once all done, it is embedded into the firmware correct? Correct - all settings are saved to the firmware and it isn't required to leave the software running.
