Sokol1 Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 (edited) TARGET soft look at base controller and not for grip, so is incompatible with Warthog grip in 3rd part bases. VirPil setup soft is unknow for now, but VKB DevCfg has advanced functions for buttons - without rely on software running in games background, profiles is stored in controller memory. Then I'll be agonising between Crosswinds and Slaw devices. First I have to move house and then find some way of disguising the purchases from Mrs von Tom, though as I type this I imagine her antennae are twitching and she'll be watching me closely. I certainly have received no communication regarding shipping, and have not seen any reports of others elsewhere either... Their last "announcement" said it would begin on the 1st. You'll receive a notification when your order has shipped as more batches come through from the factory. Everyone's patience as we catch up is much appreciated!

Thats how i plan on buying my next joystick (hopefully paypal is an option). You can also make small incremental payments towards your paypal wallet till you have enough for these things XD

Mrs. Hoss thinks she's the boss............. well she kind of is.............. but our finances are seperate............... so she has no idea how much something costs............. I can say $50 bucks for a pair of Crosswinds and she's none the wiser, but the "What do you need that for" will still be part of the conversation. 1

Luckily my wife only looks at the bank account and doesn't check the PayPal account. I'm buying a $4,200.00 custom guitar and as far as she knows I traded a guitar for another. For smaller purchases like my GPU upgrade, I use a different system. I do grocery shopping and take cash back and save it. I either pay cash in a store or load it on a prepaid card.

Did you check if they added a download on the site yet?

VIRPILControls Posted July 21, 2017 Author Posted July 21, 2017 21 July 2017 // Announcement No. 18 ► VPC MongoosT-50 Flightstick & Base Shipping Status This week marked the start of the much anticipated dispatching of the VPC MongoosT-50 Flightsticks and Bases. The VPC team has been working around the clock to ensure we can get all existing pre-orders shipped out in a timely manner. Unfortunately we must announce that a small error, but an error nonetheless, with the VPC MongoosT-50 gimbal from the factory has been discovered shortly after the first batches early this week were dispatched. The issue is regarding the compression spring channel, which due to an error with the factory CNC software, it is 2mm narrower than intended. This caused some unpleasant noises to be produced during movement. This tolerance error had also affected the cam fixing points, which caused some unwanted movement (~0.1 to 0.15mm). After discussions with the team last night, we have decided to recall the batches from the courier that went out earlier this week as we did not like the idea of our earliest and most supportive customers receiving anything but the newest and best revision of the VPC MongoosT-50 gimbal right out of the gate. The necessary changes have been made at the factory early this morning and these problems have now been resolved. It has been agreed that the factory will now produce from today and over the entire weekend. The revised batch we will receive on Monday 24th will be large enough to cover all existing pre-orders and the VPC team will again be working around the clock to assemble, test, package and despatch all orders next week. We understand wholeheartedly the frustration and disappointment experienced by some of our customers due to these delays. All of us at VPC apologise that it has taken much longer overall than anticipated to get the VPC MongoosT-50 Flightsticks and bases into everyone’s hands. On top of the previously announced VPC dust cover gift, we will also be issuing a 10% discount coupon for all users who have experienced a delay with their pre-order. For any users who are still unhappy with the situation, we will issue a no-hassle complete refund, for any customers who do wish to receive a refund, please contact sale@virpil.com with your order number.
