BoS and Windows 10

Hi All, I have been having problems with my Windows 7, after the latest updates BoS refuses to play !!  so I'm going to have Windows 10 installed professionally with selected programs saved and reinstalled, BoS being one of them.

 

So I know that this question has been asked many times, but i just need reassuring,  will it be a straight forward transaction, and should BoS/TrackIR carry on as per normal.

I can't solve your problem but I can confirm works for me with Win. 10.

I've had two PC's running Windows 10 and IL-2: Battle of Stalingrad in all semi-recent versions with zero issues. No issues alt-tabbing either.

BOS crashes a lot in mine - Only BOS no other games - Likely my install and not the game. In all other respects Win10 is fine and many players use it happily without problems. I think its a reasonable and good move.

No issues for me, or crashing when alt-tabbing.  The last patch added something that makes alt-tab more difficult, but it's not an issue and I can get to other apps after a few tries.

Dude dont waste any money mate there is NO skill or preffionality to installing windows.

W10 did not produce any errors after upgrading from W7.

It's been stable for some 18 months now.

On My Win10 64 Polish version  Scripted Campaign "Ten Days of Autumn" don't work (cant'progress to next mission).

Statistics and Flight log work only for standard Campaign.

Statistics and Flight log work don't work in Quick mission and Scripted Campaign.

Voice tex labels like kill confirmations "Aircraft Destroyed" etc. don't show up on my WIn10

I did't find a solution for this problems from many days, contacted support etc.

 

On Win 7 everything works fine (same version, same files, same account)

 

EDIT: Fixed by brute force.
Looks like corrupted NET framework 3.5 in WIN 10 was causing the problem. Format drives, reinstall the whole WIN 10 system,  activate Net Framework 3.5 in Windows Features and now it's working.

I agree. I dread to think how much a professional will charge for this service but it will definitely be too expensive.

 

@OP you simply need to purchase a Windows 10 disc, insert into your drive as the PC boots and follow the on-screen instructions. Simple.
