AI is very good at going into Tante Ju wings. Happened to me as well. Is it a bug?

It's not a bug, its just bad programming , i've made a suggestion to  the devs in the past to create something like a bubble around a bomber , a bubble in which AI fighters should avoid entering . If you are a high rank and a you fly bombing campaign mission you will encounter plenty of kamikaze interceptors that do nothing but ram your plane and you can't avoid it ,ending like this after 30 min of flight is  totally disgusting and unrealistic but i guess some one might consider this "challenging " . The interceptors should fire at you and when they get close enough they should pull up and prepare another pass ( some of them do just that), not hovering on top your wing or simply ramming your bomber like a lot of them are doing .

At least your crew can link up with the troops they just dropped hopefully... It's more than most airmen can hope for behind enemy lines
