turning off squadron subtitles

cannot turn off squadron subtitles ,very annoying when playing to see half the screen covered by text any help in getting rid of them would be appreciated,by the way already went in to config game and turned the 1 to a 0,no effect

I think the H key gets rid of everything, but you cannot isolate the huge Rus-lish subtitles.
