mikeglaz Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 The rudder on this controller works fine but I'm having a problem with the wheel brakes. When I go into Key Mapping the game recognizes the left and right brakes on the controller and lets me map them. Then I test out the calibration and everything is good. Then I return to the game and they are not working. I go back into Key Mapping and the second time around it still recognizes and sets the left and right brakes but the calibration test no longer works and neither do the wheel brakes in the game.
Sokol1 Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Click in the icon with curved graph in right side, test the pedal axis brakes there, deadzones, sensitivity can be with wrong values, so no input is send for game.
SYN_Mike77 Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Do the Thrustmaster pedals work with usb 3.0? My Saitek pedals no longer work. I get an incompatible with USB message when I trouble shoot.
mikeglaz Posted December 29, 2016 Author Posted December 29, 2016 I thought the problem might have been with the T.Flight Rudder Pedals as this is a new product. So I exchanged it for the CH Products Pro Pedals because these seem like the most popular pedals. But I have the same problem. The first time I start the game I'm able to set the pedals and calibrate them. But once I return to the game they don't work. Then I go back into Key Bindings and can no longer calibrate them until I restart the game.
Sokol1 Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Take in mind this rule : If the joystick, pedal... appear and work in Windows Control Panel > Games controller, will work in any game that use Direct Input controls Eventually some axis, due name used, e.g. Rz, can have problem in bad programmed games, but this is rare. If work for Windows but not for games, are something wrong with the game controls, maybe conflicts... or user procedures. This guy use Tm T-Flight Rudder Pedals with IL-2 BoS.
mikeglaz Posted December 29, 2016 Author Posted December 29, 2016 Well, the reason I bought rudder pedals is because my Saitek HOTAS broke and I purchased the Warthog which doesn't have a 3rd axis for rudder control. But I decided to return the Warthog and the pedals and get the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS which has rudder control on the joystick. Thank you to anyone who tried to help.
Scrogg Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Just curious what aircraft you were trying this on? I know the russian aircraft use a separate keybinding for brakes than the left and right brake/axis bindings the German aircraft use.
