editor crash and back to desktop when delete the template

Help fellows, my editor got so many times crash and back to the desktop after the update to 2.006, when I deleted the template in the view port

Is that because of the memory problem or other reason? I have already re-installed the game, but this still come again and again.

Some one also met this problem? Any solution?

Thanks!

Idem. Most of all, editing Scenary.

Yes, nothing wrong when delete the airfields, bridges, and train stations, only crash when delete the towns

Also it's ok when delete 1 or 2 towns, but will crash when delete the 3rd or 4th one.

I went from pretty much zero crashes to somewhat frequent crashes in the editor.

It's definitely less stable now.

Yes. I have the same problem. If i delete one town, nothing happens. But when I try to delete several cities, the editor stops working. Unfortunately, I do not know what to do. When creating missions can not let the whole map filled with all objects.

The editor now doesn't like it when you delete anything that's been selected on the screen.

Go to the mission tree and right click/delete from there. This avoids the crash.

Yup, this works for me too.

Same crash for me when trying to delete things (even in the tree) :(

AND, when i select File/New, it crashes also.

With this message :

Runtime error

Program:battle of stallingrad

R6025

-pure virtual function call

So basically, I cannot create any missions any more at all.

(I am using the latest il2 vrsion dx11)

I have the problem and can reproduce it, I reported it.

@Dapits, you can create, but you have to delete object by object, it takes more time, but you can work.

Thanks for the reply.. :)

I found a temporary solution by removing every missions from my mission folder when i want to create a new mission.

Because when i open the editor, it has no choice but being in a new mission environment.

Then i put all my old missions back in the folder.

It works but it is a pain in the neck..

Having got back from Christmas holidays yesterday, and starting some Mission Editor work today, I too am cursed by the crashing ME. Deleting almost any group (even small ones) does it for me. Seriously annoying!  :dash:

I found today that if you have any other group set as working, you can delete the non-selected group in the mission tree without a crash usually. I still had multiple crashes today though when deleting or pasting things on the map. Very annoying.

I have to ungroup things before deleting them. Thats my only workaround.

not work for me, still crashing, lol

There is a bug in the Editor after last patch. It crashes very often.

If you want to avoid a crash, you have to delete object by object (i know it can take a long time), or wait the next patch.
