Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X problems

Two problems:

 

IL-2 BOS does not recognize my rocker control on the thruster stick.

 

Using the twist function on the joystick to control rudder but the planes pull to the right even while I have my hand off of the stick completely.

 

I tried to adjust various things in the game settings, such as inverting the yaw control, but nothing seems to help.

 

The stick works fine in Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

 

Any ideas on what is going on?
