Saitek X52 joystick not working after update and hotfix

Greetings all!

Strangely enough, my Saitek joystick seems not to be recognized by the game...no button or axis has any effect...

Tried it on IL-2 1946 and the joystick works. Joystick is checked in the game options. Tried different USB ports, no change...

All my keybindings are there...tried re-binding some but still, no response from the game.

I can look around with the mouse but strangely F1 F2 F3 etc. views do not work either...other keyboard key bindings do work...very weird...

 

Any suggestions?

Thanks, those suggestions worked and i am re-mapping everything...

Except that external cameras views F2 F3 etc, do not work...they do when i'm watching a recorded track but not when i am in quick missions and want to look at my plane from externals...

Any idea why that is?

What difficulty settings did you use? Normally that would only happen if you choose "no external views" or realism "hardcore". Did you use any of those?

I do use "hardcore" settings...where is the option for external views, please? i can't seem to find it...

You only have it when you choose difficulty "Custom". You're welcome.
