Hi fellow mission makers,

I've been running into an issue that has been bothering me and I wanted to know if it's just me (and maybe I need to reinstall the game) or it happens to everyone and it's just a game bug.

Nearly half of the time I start up a SP mission (QMB or community made) the game loads fine, and in the final screen when you can change the plane's loadout or begin the mission, once you click begin the game will show a black screen and get stuck there.

The Esc button works and says something like "End Spectate". However the only way to get out is to Alt+F4 or Task manager.

Is this a common thing or it's only happening to me?

It's very frequent, nearly 50% of the time.

I haven't seen that myself.

It's so annoying especially if you have to open a lot of missions when you are testing them.

Its already a waste of time to switch between the ME ans game, and this bug makes it even harder.

It's not a thing introduced in the last patch, its been there for a while.

On the other hand, the ME feels waaay smoother with the last patch.

Mission editor opens faster but also crashes more for me. Doesn't like to open a different mission than the one currently being edited.

Unfortunately that already  happened to me before.

Did you notice that the scrolling and texture loading is much smoother though?

I decided to do a clean install since there have been so many patches and DX11 etc. Hopefully some kinks were only mine. It only takes 10 min to download from Steam anyways.

Just looked - yep it does seem better

Opens faster for me now too.
