Thanks, even early access ?  BOK is a stand alone if it's my first buy, isn't it ?

Stand alone if it's your first buy - content will be trickling in from now (G4 just released) until it's release date next year.

So in order to experience those planes before release (there's a release schedule somewhere...someone help him out please) you'll need

one of the current releases as well for the time being.

i think lapino map is available when you purchase BoK

I'm pretty sure you can get access to Lapino... yeah.

I'd say, if you can swing it, buy Battle of Stalingrad now or at the next sale and pickup Kuban early in the year after some content has come out. I can see a decent amount of aircraft from Stalingrad being a part of Kuban multiplayer and single player. Moscow too but the two are more closely connected.

Lapino, Veliki Luky and Novosolniki are all free maps. He should be able to use those. Pretty sure I made some typo mistake so sorry for that.

How much content is currently playable in BoK? not sure if I should invest now or wait and get a nice juicy lump of fun later?

You're still probably better off to grab BoS Standard and then pre-order/early access on BoK. You'll have lots to play with then.

My friend didn't buy Moscow, and he can fly on the Moscow map.

So I'm pretty sure all the maps are free.

Yes the made the brilliant decision to open up the maps to all users for at least multiplayer. This makes sure one does not split the MP community in separate player bases. I don't know if this is the case for SP. It's also good to know that they are ahead of schedule for the upcoming planes. The A5 and updated A3 are already out.

The pace of development is very much appreciated, that's for sure.

In multiplayer you can play on all in single player only the ones you have bought.
