RoyalChairForce Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 FTP so sorry if this is in the wrong place. Can we have the MG 151s on the Fw 190 reassigned to weapon group two again, rather than weapon group one? Or at least have the option which weapon group they fall under? I'd rather have trigger stage one be MG 17 and stage two be MG 151 & MG/FF, rather than one being MG 17 and MG151 and stage two being MG/FF, keeping the cannons grouped together. I feel that this is much more useful use of a two stage trigger than firing everything by default on stage one, and stage two being reserved for entirely optional weaponry that (and this is a very personal point) I I never use. Thanks!
Asgar Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 no. it's historical correct the way it is now
RoyalChairForce Posted December 20, 2016 Author Posted December 20, 2016 no. it's historical correct the way it is now Okay, so did it change for the Dora series?
Asgar Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 the Dora series only never has more than 2 wing cannons. that's why the layout is different yes 1
Yogiflight Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 (edited) Did Dora have wingguns? Not as far as I know. At the end of the war the wingguns were also in the Antons quite often removed, to make the aircraft more agile. Edit:Asgar was faster. Edited December 20, 2016 by Yogiflight
Asgar Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 of course it has. two in the wing roots. and D-9 has 2 MG 131 in the nose, the D-12 and D-13 have an additional Cannon 20/30mm instead of the MGs
RoyalChairForce Posted December 20, 2016 Author Posted December 20, 2016 the Dora series only never has more than 2 wing cannons. that's why the layout is different yes Understood, thanks for the clarification. It's much more satisfying to know that it's for historical reasons rather than just arbitrary.
