Nil Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Nice topic, here is my review I tried Tante Ju, it is very fantastic, I never thought this level of realism would be possible in a simulation. You really feel to fly a 1930' transport! This is incredible. But this Tante Ju has to be deserved. Flying it is so much different than the other airplane! You feel that you are with another kind of airplane.Taxing is a complete different tactic than other aircraft , even the demanding Ju88.You think you know how to fly an airplane? try Tante Ju!I have to learn how to fly it properly. I am so glad of that although I flew pretty much all aircraft in this sim.I was thinking "oh! this will be easy for me!" I am so wrong!Tante Ju is sooo much special. Much better than I ever imagined during this long 4 month wait.I love it!The wheel brake system handling with the wheel brake is an outstanding simplification made by the dev team since only few of us have a 3 throttle axes.I am so glad to enjoy this work of art. Really. I flew Tante Ju in FSX, although well made, the handling has NOTHING in common with out Tante Ju.Gosh, they took 4 month to make it... I understand why. This is an outstanding job. I really feel like flying the real one: the sound, the cockpit vibrations, the sound, the handling...Brave pilot went to combat with this slow non combat aircraft... maybe they are one of the real war heroes? Of course we need the C47 for Russian and United states. I would also vote "It's the best plane i've ever flown in a flight sim" Not because of its top speed of course, but more because of the very special handling and the maneuverability (On a side not I do not like the color choice of the special skin. What about you guys?) I believe it is ma favorite plane! I will fly most of my flight hours in it because I really LOVE to fly it! 3
BOO Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 I got it but it has two more engines than the required amount it takes to confuse me. It has however replaced my garden shed as my favorite place to sit and think about the world....
kestrel79 Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Love it, finally a sim that is creating some new gameplay scenarios with transports...I haven't been able to fly a transport plane online to help the cause since Air Warrior in the late 90s Can't wait to see what online missions can be created with the ju-52! 1
AndyJWest Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 What do I think? Well, someone on this forum said it was like flying a bus... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl9bvuAV-Ao Now I got my magic bus.
Nil Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Asgar! Please tell us your opinion! I am waiting forward to read you.
BornToBattle Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Lol...answers available in the pole just seem perhaps slightly biased! But then again, I agree! 1
Feathered_IV Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Please add the opportunity for three votes per-person, thx. 1
senseispcc Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 For transport aircrafts we need bigger maps! But then we need bigger PC's! And the games shall be more expensive! So no thank you, keep it like it is now! One last thing; transport aircraft in a air combat game are sitting "ducks", do you want to play the sitting "duck" role?! Fact; the last Aircraft shot down by a biplane in history, was a Ju-52 in 1944! Sorry to be so rude but transport aircraft are fun to fly but maybe not in a air combat situation?!

You don't have to fly it. Let the people who enjoy it fly it. Also, the maps are plenty big, have you ever flown from one end to the other? It takes a while. 1
Nil Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I want to play the duck role and I am happy with that Most of times, i come back alive, much more than when I was a sitting duck in a Ju87, He111 or even Ju88 Transport are fine for me, and I am not the only one! 1
Lusekofte Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I think the JU 52 is fantastic, but I also think it is the damnedest thing that also this is a thing Red miss out on.
Nil Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I will buy 3 of them for sure. I already saved money for that! More over, de C47 and the Junkers 52 are different aircrafts so it will be a fantastic pair or transports! 1
Lusekofte Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I suggested that and got the entire Luftwaffe on my neck saying the LI 2 was not a important plane. that historical speaking we should get a Train. I answered them if that was the case I believe they have to walk through Russia or in a wagon behind some horses . When it comes to General purpose planes Luftwaffe got it all, and Red get some uninteresting fighters. I do not think we ever get a C 47 nor a LI 2
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I would pay the same amount for an Li-2 that I did for the Ju 52.
Lusekofte Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Yes, I figure with the features that already are with this sort of type it will for the first time make sense flying them online. And I think there are more to come. For the first time we also will have valid use for seaplanes when we move to Kuban and Pasific. This is the only sim that have put a meaning flying Transport and Seaplanes online. And it would be a mistake not taking advantage on that
PA_Keko_ Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Of course we need the C47 for Russian and United states. +1
NETSCAPE Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Of course we need the C47 for Russian and United states. +1 It would make a nice target.
Cybermat47 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Of course we need the C47 for Russian and United states. Japan also used a version of the C-47. Also, I found the US skin I want to use with the C-47
Gambit21 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I think we need one with pontoons...that's what I think. 1
Lusekofte Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 I have the upmost respect for RAF transport crew duty in Burma, they kept the infantry with supplies through out the campaign no matter of weather or the fact they was unarmed in airspace not controlled. I read about one skipper , he flew a couple of years in DC 2 and DC 3 and then took part in Market Garden where he was shot down and died. If we got the C 47 I really want Burma map
Danziger Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 I think all the naysayers are just plain flying it wrong. You have to do it more like you would fly an He-111 or Ju-88. You dive down into the furball taking advantage of the tighter turning and let the gunners take out the enemy fighters.
Cloyd Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Love it, finally a sim that is creating some new gameplay scenarios with transports...I haven't been able to fly a transport plane online to help the cause since Air Warrior in the late 90s Can't wait to see what online missions can be created with the ju-52! Yeah, AirWarrior C-47 flights to take over nme bases were lots of fun.
JG5_Zesphr Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 pls gib TB3 for the soviets pls Only with the PO-2 as escort
Monostripezebra Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 "Well you know that I love you more than anyone can But a one sided love I just don't understand."
Lusekofte Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 I find it a bit funny that fighter pilots do not understand why other people want planes that actually matter and did important work. Fighters exist for taking care of them one way or the other. But still do not understand. I cannot blame them, as I myself do not understand the F 15 pilots in DCS enjoying kills miles ahead of them for years and ww2 pilots simply cannot get enough of horizontal or vertical turns. It is like that should be prioritised , the belief that CFS exist for the purpose of fighters not general purpose aircraft
=/WoVi/=kirumovka Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Izetta, the last flying witch with the ju 52.0:40
Feathered_IV Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Cute! Can someone do a: "Hitler learns that the Ju-52 he gifted hasn't been activated yet" video?
CanadaOne Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 I've been flying my brand new Ju-52 today - which is in my stable of planes courtesy of the gentleman in the post above - and I really like it. Right away I felt like I was flying FSX again, which is great. I'm really looking forward to flying this plane on the Kuban map. Hopefully there will be some challenging mountainside airstrips to pop in and out of. Just for the sheer fun of flying, I give this plane a solid "Yes". 1
